Luis Eric Gonzalez (Founder)


Founder of Go Music Trax, Luis Eric Gonzalez who was born in Matanzas Cuba, started playing trumpet at the age of seven. Luis is a graduate of the Institute of Arts in Havana Cuba, and also has several years of formal classical training. In Cuba, he performed and recorded not only with Top Popular Cuban bands, but also for operas, ballets, radio and documentary films.


Luis has been establishing his musical career in the United States since 1997. He was the musical director for Celia Cruz (The Queen of Salsa). He has toured and recorded and performed with artists such as: Don Henley, Gloria Estefan, Raul Malo, Lou Vega, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, Eric Benet, Carl Thomas, Son by 4, Juan Gabriel, Armando Manzanero, Joan Sebastian (Two time Grammy Winner), Jill Scott, Angelique Kidjo, Andy Garcia, Jamie Fox Band and Jane Chang Chinese Pop Star. Presently, Luis is doing arrangments and touring as lead trumpeter with Al McKay's Earth, Wind and Fire Experience.


Artist, producer, composer, singer, songwriter, trumpeter, and mutli-instrumentalist specializing in music for film, television and records. His credits include; Movie's Original Sin (Antonio Banderas, Angelina Jolie) and Hot Chick (Rob Scheinder), TV show CSI Miami, and commercials Health Net, Carl's Jr. and Nissan.

Peggy Jo Oliva (Co-Founder)


An American Latina who grew up in a musical family surrounded by Jazz, Rumba, Cuban Music, Puerto Rican Salsa, Funk, Rock, R&B, Soul and Hip Hop. She is the youngest and only girl of 4 siblings and her greatest influences were her parents, Arturo Rodriguez a Puerto Rican from Spanish Harlem, who was a very successful businessman, designer, percussionist and in the 80's had his own band called the Salsa Express, the house band for Herbie Hancock's famous West L.A. Jazz club "Nucleus Nuance". And, her Mother Peggy Rodriguez, a Cuban, Venezuelan, Irish girl from the Bronx was her Father's right hand in business, dedicated Mother and a lover of Salsa dancing.


PJ received her BA in Art and Graphic Design from SDSU and has since gained extensive music industry experience for the last 15 years as an entrepenuer and a business woman building and running her multi-faceted Agency Lucumi Music Productions. She has worn many hats from Graphic Designer, to Booking Agent, to Promoter to Executive Producer and she is a proud member of the Los Angeles Recording Academy (Grammys).


PJ conceptualized and created the AC Jazz Project, a world class Cuban band that has recieved awards such as the IAJE's Latin Jazz Artist of the Year, 88.9FM KJAZZ Latin Jazz Artist of the Year, "Lucumi CD" - Top 100 Latin Jazz Recordings Of All Time, and tracks

"Tamayo Tumbao" and "El Daño Ya Esta Hecho", ranked top #5 and #6 on the Salsa Music Charts in Lima Peru and Cali Colombia. Despite challenging times, raising her Son in the music biz, PJ managed, realizing her true strength and was able to successfully break through obstacles and put her band on the map in the world of Latin Jazz. PJ has worked with such artists as Dennis Chambers, Francisco Aguabella, Kamasi Washington (Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label), Rayford Griffin, Yosvany Terry, Orlando "Maraca" Valle, and Giraldo Piloto & Klimax, to name a few.
